Troop 402 - Trip to Owen Sound, Canada
Thursday January 26 to Sunday January 29, 2017
This years trip was great. Leaving Miamisburg, OH, we were all concerned about snow. We traveled in style thanks to the planning of Troop 103. Our worries were not removed until about 60 miles from Owen Sound when we started seeing snow on the ground. Once we arrived in Owen Sound we found about 6 inches of snow still on the ground, which was left from a huge snow (4ft) they received about a month earlier. We spend the night at the Royal Canadian Legion hall, they had a nice warm place to sleep and then a nice pancake breakfast. After dressing warmer we then headed out in the weather for our campout.
