Tobogganing at Pokagon State Park

Tobogganing at Pokagon State Park

Pioneer Scout Reservation

I can easy say we did not earn the polar bear patch, this weekend.   Temps were in the 50s, so there was some concern of what to expect when we arrived at the Toboggan hill.   Little to no concern for frostbite, just sun burn.  We arrived about 20 min before they open and the parking lot was packed  :(... We stood in line for the next 45 min waiting to rent a Toboggan and hoped it would be fun.   As you can see from the photos in the Blog we had a great time.   We were not cold and even had a good workout caring the heavy sleds back to the line to run again..    The tracks were running about 32-34mph..   So it was a great experiences for all.
